The Carer Support Workshop is a free one day workshop for Carers, caring for a loved one with a terminal or life limiting chronic illness at home. It is designed to cover all aspects of caring for someone in the home. The objective is to provide support, education, knowledge and skills for carers, to aid in their caring abilities and help their loved one remain at home longer. The workshop is taught by qualified registered nurses, trainers and professional counsellors, is totally free and includes lunch.

Attendees have the option to have their loved one cared for in our Living Well Day Respite Centre whilst attending the Carer Support Workshop, this service is totally free of charge subject to meeting respite eligibility requirements. This will enable carers to attend the workshop whilst their loved one is being cared for onsite.
